Book Reviews

March 21, 2016 - Cynthia S. -  The book is well written and to the point.  The fact that the setting is a classroom and there is a question and answer period among the students sets forth a feeling of intimacy.  The reader believes she is part of the group.  The questions asked are focused on the mechanism of the wheelchair and how well it adapts to the user.  This a book which brings to life the many questions and wonderment others probably have about certain disabilities but were hesitant to ask.

March 23, 2016 - Rochelle L. - Great story!  Easy to understand and explains Krystal’s mobility.  I don’t think too many other stories have taken this approach.

March 23, 2016 - Robert  D. - Congratulations on your new book.  I thoroughly enjoyed the story.  It is a subject that I find extremely important.  And the younger we give kids real knowledge the better.

March 31, 2016 - Danielle S. - I think it is great for the 7-9 ages and it is a glimpse into the world of a special person. I especially liked all the questions the children asked. Children should feel comfortable to ask questions when they see a person different from themselves.

April 4, 2016 - Jeannette O. - I loved it!!! :) I'm sure others will as well.  It is both informative and a pleasure to read.

April 11, 2016 - Kimberly K. - I thought it was absolutely amazing. Such a wonderful  way to teach children who don't understand other children with disabilities.

August 8, 2018 - Jo - 4 out of 5 stars
Kristal wrote for the benefit of others to understand what it is like to be bound in a wheelchair, about cerebral palsy, and her daily school experience. Read this informative book to learn how Kristal lives daily.
